Lot's of parents bring digital cameras to our
events, so you probably have pictures of your Cub Scout and others.
Share your pictures with the pack!
Share Them - It's
Easy
Your digital camera came with software and so
did your computer. You can use either - no need to get fancy.
The basic steps for sending
pictures by Email:
- Connect your camera to your computer.
This usually requires a cable that came with your camera and
that plugs into any USB port on the main box of your computer.
- Download the pictures from the camera to
your computer.
- Put the pictures you want to submit into
a compressed (zipped) folder.
- Send the folder to the
webmaster by Email
The basic steps for sending
pictures by CD:
- Connect your camera to your computer.
This usually requires a cable that came with your camera and
that plugs into any USB port on the main box of your computer.
- Download the pictures from the camera to
your computer.
- Copy all of the images you want to submit
onto a CD using your "CD burner", usually a CD-R or CD-RW drive
on your computer.
- Bring the CD to any pack event and have
your den leader give it to the webmaster.
- We will crop, cut, and post the pictures
on the page for the event.
